The 26-year-old Swedish pop singer kicked off her new tour at Manchester Academy on Friday, February 16.
Despite having only just released her new album ‘Venus’ a week ago, she begins the tour which included a mix of new and old songs to her fans.
This is her first tour since before the pandemic and lets just say that Zara was not here to play.

Opening act, Yaeger, a fellow Swedish singer begins her first ever tour as an opener for Zara and despite this being her first tour, you wouldn’t be able to tell.
With brilliant vocals, and fabulous stage presence, Hanna Jäger, perfectly set the tone for the concert.
Building up the atmosphere for the crowd, her songs can be described as pop with a hint of club-dance vibe.
Playing some of her songs like ‘Water Pistol’ and ‘Jaguar’ and also singing unreleased songs, one named ‘Desert Island’ which they played for the very first time.
Now on to the main act.
Originally having seen a brilliant set in 2017 when she was just 19-years-old, I then saw Zara again in 2019 to quite a disappointing concert due to a bad venue which meant the heat was just too much.
But ‘WOW’ has Zara not come to play with this new tour, as this blew the first one out the park.
Starting off the concert with beautiful visuals along a large rectangular screen above a platform, two square doors were pushed together by her dancers to then introduce Zara to the stage.
The set was one thing that made this concert a show.
Three highlighted boxes showcasing her band below with screens showcasing visuals and music video highlights to a large stage and a high platform created a unique space for her and her four dancers.

One thing I have always loved about her tours, is Zara gives her dancers the time to shine.
The four women get to showcase their moves to the powerful music alongside her but they also get their individual moment to show just how talented they are.
Along with her band being all women, this is a tour for the girls.
Whilst Zara Larsson doesn’t shy away from a slow ballad, like ‘The Healing’, where she can highlight just how wide her range can go, she has always created a tour for where people can go to just have a good time with a dance and a sing.
Including her new songs ‘Ammunition’, ‘Can’t Tame Her’ and ‘On My Love’ that invite the audience to dance along and scream her lyrics.
She also sang some of her most popular songs ‘Never Forget You’ and ‘Symphony’ which are always crowd pleasers.
Zara truly is an underrated powerful pop singer that I believe deserves more fans.
Ultimately there is nothing better than seeing a tour fuelled by girl power with your best friend.
